Deze interactieve ervaring met wilde dieren laat u kennismaken met de uitgestrekte Arabische woestijn, de inheemse dieren van Dubai en de oude traditie van de valkerij in de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Leer meer over de geschiedenis van de valkerij, een traditie waarbij getrainde valken worden gebruikt om op prooien te jagen, en ontdek waarom het zo belangrijk is in de Arabische cultuur. U mag zelf contact maken met de valken en proberen de valkerij onder de knie te krijgen! U spot wilde dieren zoals de Arabische oryx en gazellen vanuit een comfortabele, luxe Range Rover of geniet vanuit een oude Land Rover met open dak, een transportmiddel dat in de jaren 50 op grote schaal werd gebruikt voor woestijnexpedities, van een tour door het Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, het meest zorgvuldig bewaard gebleven natuurgebied in de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten, gevolgd door een rit op een kameel door de woestijn.

Our guide Ben was excellent. He really seemed very passionate and knowledgable about the local wildlife and answered all our questions and even spotted and stopped to let me try and capture a picture of a shrike which I was very enthusiastic about. I really can't say whether my favourite part was the great authentic breakfast, the bird of prey demonstration (which included a peregrine falcon, dessert eagle owl and a barn owl), the wildlife or the camel ride. I couldn't believe how sweet natured the camels were enjoying scratches. Overall great tour to get a small amount of time experiencing many things. I only wish each portion could be longer to make it a full day tour! Thanks Ben!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Booked the private tour in the morning because we were traveling with a small child and we found that it was easier although the experience with the traditional dinner seams amazing too. Our tour guide James was extremely nice and made us feel like home. A chance to explore the desert of Dubai, how the bedouins live and the food they eat.
Totally recommend this desert safari whether you’re travelling with kids, a couple or even solo. So much fun!

This morning we had a wonderful experience in the desert thanks to our driver Ben . he was really amazing , explained us a lot of things of the desert and we felt like at home .The experience with the falcons, owls and hawks was really fantastic, we should recommend it.

We did a privet sunrise tour which was amazing, We had a great time, and enjoyed all part of the tour. the falcon demonstration, the excellent breakfast, the jeep ride, the wild life that we saw. and most of all we had a wonderful guide- Nizar who took good care of us, was good driver, very knowledgeable and kind. Thank you :)) . We can highly recommend that trip and the company.

For sure the highlight of my stay in the UAE. Oskar the tour guide was marvelous and a treasure trove of knowledge. I learned a lot, enjoyed the ride in the Landy , the outstanding breakfast , the amazing falconry and the quick camel ride. Time/ Money well spent!

I booked the group tour for myself, my husband and our 8 year old animal-mad daughter. We all loved it from start to finish. The falconry display was really impressive - got some great slo-mo shots, the camels are huge and obviously well cared for, the nature reserve was un-spoilt and great to hear about the story of the oryx, the food was amazing, all freshly made, and the lemon and mint drink was really refreshing. Very interesting to hear that dune bashing is bad for the environment because it kills lizards hiding in the dunes. I had specifically been searching for a tour without dune bashing as I’m pregnant, but now I know for future not to book that kind of tour. Thanks to our guide Mauriceo for helping to make this an unforgettable experience.

What a fabulous tour. Great it was early morning start, so not too hot!
Very interesting learning about the Bedouin way of life, and eating a delicious traditional breakfast in a replica of a typical Bedouin camp.
(Don’t worry ladies, as lovely clean toilets are in the camp!)
Camel riding through the desert and riding in a vintage Land Rover jeep was so much fun.
Watching the falcon perform was fantastic and so interesting, with photo opportunity with the falcon. The guides spoke very good English and were so lovely, and very informative about all the ways of Bedouin life and the Nature Reserve in the desert.
Highly recommend this tour from couples to families.

Ronald was my guide for this tour and picked me up at right time at the hotel. We drove in a Ford Expedition which was very comfortable. The other guests were very pleasant and our tour was incredible. Lots of interesting facts about the desert and Lushano, the falconer, was impressive. I was very pleased with Platinum Heritage and strongly recommend this tour.

An amazing experience from start to finish. Our guide, John, met me in the hotel lobby and made me feel welcome. We picked up a couple at another hotel and then were on our way. On the drive there we were given a nice history of the UAE, a short tour of the camel racing facility and John answered all of our questions about things we saw on the way.
At the site we were given our water bottles and our scarves.
The falconry show was amazing…we were able to get up close to the birds and even got to pet the owl!
Breakfast was very good…nice variety of tasty foods to choose from. We then took a nice tour of the conservancy and saw the oryx as well as took a photo stop to get spectacular photos of the sky and the dunes. Then the ride back to the hotels.
This was a professionally-operated tour…what I signed up for is what I got. Guides and handlers were helpful. There were only 3 in our group and only once we were with another group of 5. So a nice pace of events and plenty of time for questions and answers.
Forget the dune-bashing BBQ tours you see on Trip Advisor…Platinum Heritage is the only desert experience you need.

Phenomenal experience with knowledgeable guide and thoughtful details that left me wanting to return with friends someday. My main reason for booking this tour was the falconry bit, but I was extremely happy for the other parts of the tour too like the 1950s Land Rover, desert tour, and brunch at the camp. Camel ride was a little short and I was hoping for brewed coffee instead of instant but these tiny details didn't affect my enjoyment at all.
A very good organization, well oiled experience by friendly people !

This tour was one of the best excursions we have ever booked through Viator! From the transfer from Dubai, to the Falconry experience, to the breakfast, camel ride, and desert safari, the morning just kept getting better and better. Razaq ensured our day ran smoothly and really engaged our 6 y.o., all while ensuring everyone had a great time and learned a lot about desert wildlife, conservation, culture, and history. Do not skip this tour-- it was worth every penny and was a day we will never forget!

I did the morning desert safari with Sami as my guide and had a fantastic experience. Everything was very well planned and executed, the activities were interesting and fun and the perfect amount of time, the food was good, and Sami was a great, interesting, knowledgable guide through it all. I went as a solo traveler, and the group included other solo travelers, couples, and families with kids, and it worked well for everyone.
