After a pickup from your centrally located Dubai hotel, relax in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle as you head to the desert that surrounds the city. Admire views of the barren yet enchanting landscape on the way, and listen to your guide’s tales about the region and its fascinating geology.

First stop on your desert rendezvous is a traditional camel farm to see herds of the magnificent hump-backed herbivores. After showing off your balancing skills on a camel ride around the enclosures, learn about the different types of camels that are commonly seen in the desert around Dubai.

Continue by 4x4 across the desert plains to the campsite in the desert and try your hand at a popular local pastime: sandboarding! Learn to master the art of 'surfing on sand' and race your friends and fellow travelers down the sand dunes during in an adrenaline-rushing experience.

Show off your balance skills on a camel ride or relax and take a seat outside to watch your show as the sun sets over the craggy canyons and sun-baked plains. Get a henna tattoo design on your hands or feet, watch a traditional tanoura folk dance, and feast on a delicious barbecue dinner or try out our new shawrma station.

Really enjoyed our trip on an afternoon desert safari. Our guide Sahib was really knowledgeable about Dubai and the desert, nothing was too much trouble for him and we felt safe throughout the dune bashing. The camp was great with all activities advertised available, the BBQ dinner was also very good. Thanks Sahib and orient tours for a great experience.

Amazing adventure a must must must thing to do whilst visiting Dubai. The dune rides were out of this world and the whole evening with bbq and the entertainments was excellent. A big thankyou to Javeed who was a brilliant person and skillfull driver.

From start to finish it was a great trip the drive around the desert was fantastic just like being on a rollercoaster the camp and food was good and meeting the camels.
We loved the end show were the 3 camels went over the top of the dunes to music and lights.

The experience was absolutely brilliant!!! Everything was organised perfectly. Many surprises too!! So many activities to do. Very professional drivers and comfortable luxury vehicles. Even the vehicles were modified (reinforced) for additional safety. Our Desert Safari Land Cruiser Captain was Asif, he was absolutely a gem of a man- very professional, friendly, cordial, helpful, caring and funny. I can give all 5 Stars and million more Stars for the awesome experience.

A special thanks goes to Bryce, the ticketing Agent from My City Expert who was very friendly and helpful all the time. Equally funny as Asif. He made sure everything went well until we came back to our hotel.

My first desert safari and I highly recommend this one! The driver was professional and easy to follow. The sand dune bashing was way more exciting than I expected. Try to get the front seat view. The food and show was really good. And surprisingly the desert was quite relaxing.
