What To Expect

Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve

Have you ever explored the Largest Desert of Dubai, covering 10% of the land? Arriving at Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve after a 45-50 minute ride from the hotel in a modern air-conditioned vehicle, we shall hop on to the Vintage G Class Mercedes 1980s for a ride over the desert.

During our 30-40 minute drive, admiring the beauty of the huge dunes, halt midst the desert for a photo stop, observing the UAE's National Tree, Al Ghaf, and plants like Al Ashkhar. Here you have the perfect opportunity to learn about Dubai, its history, and the significance of desert plants in traditional Bedouin life. We shall be lucky to see wild animals when touring the desert in our open car while hanging on to the rods.

As we arrive at the authentic Bedouin Village, at sunset, enjoy a traditional Emirati welcome with Arabic coffee, luqaimat, and dates, followed by a visit to the underground cooking station for seeing the preparations. If interested, join us on our gastronomic adventure and have it ready when we return from the camel ride after enjoying a spectacular sunset by riding a camel caravan into the middle of nowhere.

Everything was great. Our guide Yasir was very nice and he provided us a lot of information about Dubai and everything else. I recommend this tour to everyone especially the tour with Yasir as a guide. The dunes bashing was not so brutal as we expected and it was great. Also, we received a lot of good food.

We had a fantastic time on the Al Marmoom evening tour - every aspect of the tour was well organised starting from the pick up all the way to the return back to our hotel.
